Campus FM has won the Broadcasting Authority award for gender awareness and together with Radio Malta was the overall radio winner in the authority's programme awards this year. The overall television winner was TVM.
TVM won the greatest number of awards - four, for its programmes "Meander" (culture), Varenne... ikompli (sports), "Focus" (discussion/current affairs) and "Kerser Quiz" (children's).
Three awards were won by Super 1 TV for Il-Madonna tac-Coqqa (drama), "Teknosphere" (education), and "Team" (investigative journalism). Net TV won two awards for Karba mir-Russja (documentary) and "Gianni's Show" (light entertainment).
In the radio section Campus FM, Radio Malta and FM Bronja won two awards each.
Campus FM won the light entertainment and the children's sections with Elvis Presley Minn Diversi Aspetti and "Eco Kids", respectively, Radio Malta the documentary and the discussion/current affairs sections with Is-Sena tal-Biza - Malta 1942 and Nigu ghall-Punt respectively, and FM Bronja the culture and Maltese language sections with Dan X'Annimal Hu? (culture). It won the language award overall and not for a particular programme.
Radju St Vincent de Paul won the drama section with the programme Jum fil-Hajja ta' Nathalie Peltier and Radju Lehen il-Qala the education section with the programme L-Edukazzjoni ta' Wliedna.
