Archbishop Paul Cremona yesterday spoke about the importance of keeping Christ in the centre of our lives, while acknowledging that He is the King and that we form part of his kingdom. Speaking during the celebration of Christ the King at San Gwann, Mgr Cremona said everyone has to act as part of Christ's kingdom. People who belong to this kingdom were not egoists, arrogant, complicated, critical or cynical.
In his message during Mass at the cathedral in Victoria, Gozo Bishop Mario Grech reflected on the need of a proper interpretation of such simple terms as human being, life, marriage and family because different interpretations are being given which are misleading people.
He insisted that by keeping Christ in the centre of one's lives, one will easily notice that he is an important criterion in the interpretation one gives to these aspects of life.
Another manifestation for children was held on Saturday in front of St Publius church in Floriana.
The feast of Christ the King brings to an end the liturgical year and is celebrated with a number of activities throughout the world.
