The non-profit fair trade shop in Valletta, L-Arka, run by the volunteers of the Maltese fair trade cooperative, is marking its 10th fair trade Christmas and offering for sale the largest ever range of products from Latin America, Asia and Africa.

A wide range of L-Arka's fairly-traded products are available for sale at a fair, which will run until December 22. It is being held at the Deporres Hall, next to Jesus of Nazareth parish church, at The Ferries, in Sliema. Volunteers will be manning the fair every day between 4 and 9 p.m.

A product for sale this year is Malta's first fair trade board game in Maltese called Fair Play. It was developed as part of an EU development education project between four European fair trade organisations, including the Koperattiva Kummerc Gust.

The game challenges the players to establish a fair production line for cotton.
