GALEA. On May 7, RITA, aged 85, passed away peacefully at Karin Grech Hospital, comforted by the rites of the Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her brother Joe and his wife Rose, her in-laws Antoinette Galea, Palmira Galea, Marlene Galea Lowell and Tonio Sapiano, nephews and nieces.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said tomorrow at 2.30 p.m. at the Sacro Cuor parish church, Sliema followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata cemetery.

GATT. On May 7, at St James Capua Hospital, Sliema, Colonel JAMES GATT, widower of May, aged 96, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his son Neville and his wife Marguerite, his daughters Pamela and Diana and her husband Vanni, his grandchildren Michel and his wife Magalie, Greta, Jean-Paul and his wife Gabrielle, Christopher, François and his wife Lisa, Claire and her husband Kurt, his great-grandchildren Mathieu, Milene, Luca, Sarah, Rebecca, Livia, Hannah, Kate and Sean, his brother Henry and his wife Maria, his sisters Vicky, Rose, Lina and Margaret, his brother-in-law Victor, besides other relatives and friends.
Mass praesente cadavere will be said today at 2.30 p.m. at St Gregory's parish church, Sliema, followed by interment at the Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. No flowers by request but donations to Dar tal-Providenza, Siġġiewi, will be greatly appreciated.
Lord, grant him eternal rest.

MONTEBELLO. On May 7, at Żejtun, ANTHONY, aged 91, passed away peacefully comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Giovanna, his children Attilio and his wife Maria Assunta, Edwin and his wife Marthese, Henrietta and her husband Charles Gravina, his brother Francis and his wife Adelide, Evelyn widow of his brother Cosimo, his grandchildren Rachel and her husband Robert Fenech, Conrad, lara and her fiancé Charlton, Luana, Stephen, Daniela and Andrea, his great-granddaughter Naomi, in-laws, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
The funeral leaves his residence at Żejtun today at 2.45 p.m. for St Catherine parish church, Żejtun where Mass praesente cadavere will be said at 3 p.m. followed by interment in the family vault at Żejtun Cemetery. Lord grant him eternal rest.

National Development Education seminar

SKOP - the national platform of Maltese NGDOs - will be holding its fourth National Development Education Seminar in collaboration with Inizjamed, Koperattiva Kummerċ Ġust (KKĠ) and Kopin at St Ignatius College Primary School, Siġġiewi on May 12 from 9 a.m. to 3.30 p.m.
The aim of the seminar is to present development education projects to teachers, educators and students, educational institutes and other stakeholders.

Ryanair appointment

Alessia Viviani has been appointed Ryanair sales and marketing manager for southern Europe.

Ms Viviani, who was previously the low-cost airline's sales manager for Italy, will assume overall responsibility for the company's sales and marketing activities in Italy, Spain, France, Malta, Portugal and Morocco.
