Luxol rebounder Matijevic best player in April

The Miles Express Division One player of the month award for April has been assigned to BUPA Luxol player Marco Matijevic. It is the second time this season that the Luxol rebounder has clinched this honour as he helped his team to win the Gatorade League after beating Compleet IS in the final play-offs.

Luxol qualified for the final last month after a run of positive results in the regular season. They also captured the BOV KO after beating Depiro in the final.

Matijevic contributed to Luxol's success by scoring 81 points. He is the season's undisputed top rebounder with an impressive total of 447, averaging 15.41 rebounds per game.

Matijevic was presented with his award by Ottavio Terribile, the Malta Basketball Association vice-president.
