Seminar on jobs in super yachts industry

A seminar on Jobs In The Super Yachts Industry will be held in the first week of October.

The seminar is part of the programme marking the publication of the eighth edition of Yachting In Malta, the directory first published in 1976 on Malta's yachting services and facilities.

The International Super Yacht Society, based in Florida, and the Flagship Superyacht Academy, operating from Portsmouth, have accepted invitations to nominate speakers for the seminar.

The International Super Yacht Society, founded in 1989, is the sole organisation serving and representing the large yacht industry worldwide.

The Flagship Superyacht Academy was established in 1996 when a ground-breaking association arrangement was signed with the Royal Navy to market the spare capacity in their training facilities and programmes.

Key institutions including the Malta Maritime Authority, the Mcast Maritime Institute, the Institute of Tourism Studies and the Yachting Services Trade Section of the Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise support the seminar, the first ever of its kind to be held here.
