The fallout of the transport strike (2)
My congratulations to the government for standing firm during the uncalled-for transport strike. The behaviour of the transport operators gives the country nothing but a bad name. Tourists and locals are annoyed by such unnecessary actions. Naturally, I would like to thank bus drivers for giving us four wonderful days of enjoying driving without traffic problems, foul emissions and black smoke. Sliema, especially Tower Road, was free of exhaust fumes and citizens could walk around in a clean environment.
Let us have strong penalties in the future! Striking for no reason is uncalled for.
