Corpse of man found at sea, identity unknown

A Maltese fishing boat has found the corpse of a man close to the area where the corpses of two missing Maltese fishermen were recovered over the past few days.

An AFM patrol boat has been diverted to the location.

Informed sources said the man is in an advanced state of decomposition and cannot be immediately identified.

A number of fishing boats, patrol boats and a helicopter are currently sweeping the area, looking for an 11-year-old boy and an Ethiopian fisherman still missing following the sinking of the Maltese fishing boat Simshar. The boat sank early on Friday of last week after an engine room explosion.

Its owner, Simon Bugeja, has been the only survivor so far. He is in intensive care at Mater Dei Hospital.

The kid has passed away this was confirmed by his father , who bravely enough and nithign less then a father would do for his child and held him till his strenght was gone , even though he knew that the child had expired. May the good lord grant you courage to get over this ordeal Simon and may god bring his body to you so that you can lay him in peace on land where he belongs

God - please listen to our prayers. Help them find the kid. Preferably alive. Listen to our prayers.
