Second fisherman died of drowning - police

Mr Bugeja was one of five persons onboard the fishing boat Simshar, missing for a week. His corpse was the second to be recovered. Noel Carabott, whose corpse was found late on Thursday, also died of drowning.

Meanwhile, Mr Bugeja's son Simon, who was rescued late yesterday, is in a stable condition in the intensive care section of Mater Dei Hospital.

The search is still on for Theo Bugeja, 11 and an Ethiopian fisherman, who had also been on the fishing boat.
