Capital Radio has been sold and will transmit its last programme tomorrow morning, Mediacoop said this morning.
The radio will end transmissions at noon and new owners take over on April 1.
Mediacoop said the sale of its licence would enable it to concentrate on other activities. It thanked all contributors to the station.
The station broadcasts on 88.7 FM.It has been on the air for almost 11 years.
A spokesman for Mediacoop preferred not to disclose who the new owners would be, but said that the station would be renamed and operated as a commercial, non political station.
