Hundreds of holidaymakers who spent the Easter weekend in Gozo had a rough end to their break yesterday, with strong winds whipping up rough seas in the Gozo Channel, slowing down the ferries. The service was interrupted between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.

The rough weather has persisted today, with the wind forecast to remain strong throughout the day. The ferries were operating a shuttle service in the morning, taking the route round Comino for protection.
