Popular Italian television personality Raimondo Vianello has passed away, Italian media have reported. He was 87.

Vianello was widely popular, also in Malta, for the comic strips, Casa Vianello, he presented with his wife Sandra Mondaini.

He also presented the sports programme Pressing.
