The Champions League first qualifying round first leg match between Andorra champions Santa Coloma and Birkirkara, was cancelled today after UEFA ruled that the pitch at La Vella was unfit for play.

The venue, Estadi Comunal, is the only football ground in Andorra available for this kind of competition. The ground was inspected after a complaint by Birkirkara.

In such circumstances a walkover is normally awarded to the visiting team. The UEFA Disciplinary Commission decision will be made in the next 48 hours.
