I read Mark Anthony Falzon’s column with interest. I particularly liked his last one, ‘The six cent island’ (July 25), both for its humour and its seriousness.

I would like to add my bit by sending a photo of a bus driver in Gozo, which speaks for itself. It might encourage more tourists, or even Maltese for that matter, to use public transport; why not? Isn’t it a ­novelty?
