Several cars were badly damaged when they were carried by strong floodwater in Qormi this morning after heavy rain.

Another reader from Qormi said he even saw empty coffins floating on the water!

Similar scenes were witnessed in other localities notably Marsa, Siggiewi, Zabbar/Marsascala and Swieqi. (see separate story).
