The 47-strong Sollentuna Boys Choir will present two concerts next month.
The Sollentuna Gosskör was founded in 1973 by Kurt Romberg, a musician in the church of Sweden in Sollentuna.
Sollentuna is a municipality in Stockholm County made up of five districts with a population of 64,000 people.
The choir’s members are aged between 10 and 27 and have performed a number of well-known pieces including Mozart’s Requiem, Händel’s Messiah and Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana.
The choir has also recorded four CDs and has performed on national television in Sweden.
The choir gives around 10 concerts per year in Sweden and around Europe.
The conductors and musical leaders of the Sollentuna Gosskör are Maria Nilsson and David Stadell.
The first concert is at Safi parish church on June 2 at 7 p.m. and the second will be held at Vittoriosa parish church on June 3 at 6.30 p.m.
Entrance is free. All donations will go towards the Community Chest Fund.
