This Baroque townhouse is located at 131, Triq il-Kbira within the core of Naxxar and the area is seen as being developed on the earlier available maps for the area. The property highly visible since it is located opposite a fork in the streets, immediately stands out from among the other properties in the vicinity.

The property is somewhat significant since it was used as a school as well as the police station of the locality in the past.

The property may have also served as the property of the Luogotenente of Naxxar owing to the back elevation of the property and the original location of Il-Ġnien tal-Kmand being contiguous.

It contains various significant features such as a shelter on two levels, sculpted doorways, a highly ornate entrance hallway and other features.

Mepa scheduled the property as a Grade 2 national monument as per government notice 22 dated January 10.
