Six migrants, who claimed to be Somali, are being brought to Malta on an AFM patrol boat for medical assistance.

They were rescued from a dinghy carrying 66 migrants.

The remaining 60 migrants refused assistance and continued on their way.

Earlier this week the AFM also rescued three women and a baby from a boat, while the remainder of their group, about 40, continued on their way to Italy.
