Bay Street is bringing a taste of the traditional Maltese feast atmosphere to its shopping and entertainment complex in St Julian’s every Sunday between today and August 26, and on Wednesday, the feast day of Santa Marija.

Visitors will be able to watch Maltese folk dancing by Eldridge Saliba of the Paul Curmi Dancers in the Rotunda on Level 0 from 6 to 8 p.m., and Maltese folk musicians who will be roaming around the complex to entertain visitors. Traditional Maltese food will also be served in the Artisan Market on these five occasions.

Between Tuesday and August 18, Bay Street will also be decorated with the typical traditional village feast tapestry drapes hanging more than a storey high.
