Another two dead, crucified cats have been found in Mosta, this time near the grounds of the former Flower Power.
The discovery is the latest in a macabre series of eight cases in Mosta which started in September 2011. Most of the dead cats were found on the 16th day of the month.
Last month, the discovery consisted of eight paws and a tail that were found nailed to two crosses hanging from the statue of St Mary in Britannia Square, Mosta.
Police sources had said that the Mosta cat crucifier had been killing the animals and freezing their bodies before displaying them in a public space.
The Malta Cat Club has created a reward fund to encourage people to be more vigilant and help catch the perpetrator.
