The PN Executive this evening announced 12 new candidates for the next general election.
They are Alan Abela Wadge (management graduate, works as Operations Manager), Simone Aquilina (EU Policy and Legislation Executive with Meusac), Dounia Borg (president of the Moroccan community in Malta);
Roselyn Borg (lawyer focused on employment law), Charlene Camilleri Zarb (lawyer), Charlot Cassar (business development manager with Transport Malta);
Ryan Mercieca (graduate in tourism and diplomacy and works as project manager), Aaron Micallef (cabin crew trainer), Angelo Micallef, (lawyer and broadcaster);
Alessia Psaila Zammit (lawyer and newscaster), Graziella Schembri (known at Graziella Attard Previ, social worker and broadcaster) and Justin Schembri ( teacher and MUT assistant secretary) .
PN leader Simon Busuttil said the party was going through a process of change which also meant the involvement of more people. The process was still in its early stages but would eventually lead to a radically different party.
He thanked the new candidates, who were selected after a process of interviews and scrutiny by a committee led by former EU Commissioner Joe Borg. The process is continuing.
