I would like to point out some strange markings recently painted on the Mosta ring road.

As the photo clearly shows, a contractor sprayed curved road markings on newly laid asphalt.

To make things worse, when the contractor realised his mistake, he returned the next day and erased some of the markings with a machine, which harmed the newly- laid asphalt surface.

I am curious to know what criteria Transport Malta adheres to when it chooses a contractor to carry out such work.
