Two Finns were hospitalised this morning when the car they were passengers in crashed into a wall and overturned in Triq is-Salini, limits of Naxxar.

One was certified to be suffering from slight injuries, the other that she was not injured.

The police said the accident happened at 5.15am.

The car, a Toyota Aygo, was being driven by a 25-year-old man who fled the scene of the accident together with another passenger.

The driver has since been found by the Police and is assisting in the investigations.
