The new Valletta bus terminus project will be completed by the end of September at a cost of €1.5million and I think it will be a great improvement.

However, I would like to ask the project engineers if any money has been set aside to fix the floodlighting on and around St James Ditch and the original bus station. They seem to be illuminated 24 hours a day, even on bright, sunny days.

This is such a waste of money when two very simple options could be utilised.

Option one: fit photocells. Option two: fit a timer.
