The Malta Financial Services Authority has become aware of an entity operating under the name Wire Prepay, which purports to be a ‘financial company’ authorised to offer prepaid cards, credit cards and debit cards, as well as payment processing services and money transfers.

The website (www.wireprepay.com) gives an incomplete physical address in Malta and a Maltese telephone number as a means of contact.

The authority wishes to alert the public that the above-mentioned entity is not registered in Malta and is not licensed or authorised by the MFSA to provide any type of financial service.
