What an utter waste of money and resources. The LGBTI coloured ‘zebra’ crossing in Victoria was painted over in black, with enormous effort, because somehow it interfered with the horse races for the feast of St George!

After the event, six men plus traffic wardens were at work repainting the colours.

This will be repeated, I have been told, in a couple of weeks’ time for the feast of Santa Marija.
