The police warned this afternoon that a big fish has been spotted close to the breakwater at Grand Harbour.

Reader Aaron Sammut told Times of Malta that he was on his boat less than a mile off the breakwater when he spotted what he believed to be a shark less than two metres from his boat. The fish was about two metres in length.

He said the fish was not aggressive.
