Everything is ready for the start of the UEFA Top Executive Programme (TEP) meeting which commences this morning at the Westin Dragonara Resort in St Julians. UEFA president Michel Platini, who recently announced his candidacy for the FIFA presidential election to be held on February 26, touched down in Malta yesterday evening on a private jet. Launched 10 years ago, UEFA’s TEP operates on the strategic cross-road between football politics and football development. It is made up of the presidents and general secretaries of the 54 national associations in UEFA’s fold and the European football organisation’s top brass. The UEFA Executive Committee members are also meeting in Malta later this week. Both events are being hosted and organised by the Malta FA.
