A Maltese-Dutch couple have been given a special welcome by Air Malta - for their 100th flight on the airline.

Terrie Visser and her husband flew on their 100th flight, from Amsterdam, on Thursday.

The Vissers have been travelling to Malta from Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport for the past 33 years and this was their fourth trip to the islands this year.

Air Malta surprised the couple with a complimentary upgrade to Business Class and welcoming them to Malta upon arrival.
