50 new cases of HIV and one of AIDS (45 men and six women) were registered in the first 10 months this year, health minister Konrad Mizzi said this evening.
In reply to a Parliamentary question, he gave Labour MP Etienne Grech a breakdown of the HIV and AIDS cases notified to the health authorities since 2004. The reply included also information about the gender and the infection source or risk factor.
