A number of hover boards, also known as drifting scooters and balance wheels, may pose a risk of injury or death due to falls off a moving platform, the Consumer Affairs Authority warned today.

It urged users to wear adequate and approved personal protective equipment and carefully read and abide with the instruction manual.
