A diverse series of short films are showing at Naar Restobar in St Julian’s today at 7.45pm.
Curated by Manchester-based film programmer Amy Carroll, some of the films will be screened for the very first time tonight.
The films that will be screened perfectly encapsulate the feeling of change
“Spring is a time of rebirth and new beginnings and the films that will be screened perfectly encapsulate the feeling of change so well,” says Carroll. “With the days becoming longer and the nights becoming warmer, these films are a strong reminder that it is indeed the season of renewal as these short films capture new challenges, lifelong ambitions, joy as well as an opportunity for the audience to be engaged by up-and-coming directors, expand their network, and enjoy a night out while watching some great talent on screen.”
Short Films in Spring is a unique alternative film distribution, exhibition platform as these shorts don’t get to be screened in cinemas or on TV. During the event, the audience will be given the opportunity to vote for the best film.
Entrance is €10 and includes wine, canapés and free popcorn. For bookings send an e-mail to euromediaforum@gmail.com or send an SMS to 9945 4066. For more details, visit www.facebook.com/Euro.Media.Forum.
