A 57-year-old man from Marsaxlokk was grievously injured this morning when he was hit by a car in Birżebbuġa. He is not in critical condition.

The police said the accident happened in Triq Ħal-Far at 9am.

The car was being driven by a 32-year-old woman from Mosta.
