The Mosta local council is today organising the revival of Il-Ħuġġieġa Ta’ San Ġwann (Bonfire of St John).

This family event, starting with various street activities at 7pm, will feature traditional Maltese folk singing (għana), sale of craft items, a military and classical car exhibition, as well as the actual bonfire of St John.

There will also be stands with traditional foods and local wines and activities for children.

At the same time, there will be a procession featuring the Grand Master, the archbishop and other historical personalities.
