A 20-year-old Syrian who lives in Qormi was stabbed during an argument with another foreign man yesterday evening. The aggressor is still on the run.

The police said they were informed by the Floriana Health Centre at 10pm that an injured Syrian had been admitted. The Syrian was then transferred to Mater Dei Hospital.

Preliminary investigations found that the incident took place at Vjal ir-Re Dwardu VII in Floriana.

The police were later informed that the man was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
