The registered unemployment rate in November 2017 stood at 1.1 per cent of the labour supply, (excluding part-time employment), the National Statistics Office reported on Wednesday.

There was not much difference between the rates for men and women, with the former being 1.3 per cent and 0.9 per cent for the latter.

In March, the number of persons registering for work stood at 1,954 - decreasing
by 26.2 per cent when compared to the corresponding month in 2017.
