Birkirkara has signed Croatian defender Arian Mrsulja on a one-year contract.
He becomes the sixth foreigner confirmed for the 2018-2019 season as the Stripes steps up their transfer campaign in view of the UEFA Europa League preliminary round matches.
Mrsulja, 1.90metres tall, is a promising defender. In the last couple of seasons, he was a regular player with ASD Mezzolara in the Serie D and has made 20 appearances in the last season.
He has played for Croatian side Istra 1961 in the Under-17's and Under-19's categories.
He becomes the fourth new foreigner for the Stripes following the signing of Uchenna Umeh, Marcelo De Siqueira and Eduardo Dos Santos. Kristijan Naumovski and Mislav Andelkovicare the two foreigners confirmed from last season.
