A Dutch league football match between Excelsior and Feyenoord was interrupted on Sunday when supporters started throwing missiles.

But it was all for a good cause.

As the clock struck the 19 minute mark, Excelsior supporters rained down cuddly toys to the stand below, where children from the Erasmus Sophia Hospital sat to watch the game. They also sang You'll never walk alone.

It was a repeat of a similar gesture two years ago when ADO Den Haag fans showered the visiting Feyenoord fans with stuffed animals.
