The Times Picture Annual 2007, the second edition of what is hoped will be a long-running annual publication, is a selection of the thousands of images taken for The Times and The Sunday Times by staff photographers Darrin Zammit Lupi, Matthew Mirabelli, Jason Borg and Chris Sant Fournier.

It also includes several images which did not make it to publication in the newspaper for various reasons, as well pictures by other contributors and foreign news pictures by Reuters photographers. It has six sections covering news, people in the news, daily life, sport, art and entertainment, and foreign news, covering the period of mid-November 2006 to mid-November 2007. The collective work is a synopsis of life during the year, with all its joys and heart-breaking moments.

Photos include the canonisation of Saint Gorg Preca, illegal immigration, the inauguration of the new archbishop of Malta, French President-elect Sarkozy in Malta, The Games of the Small States of Europe in Monaco, AC Milan in Malta, the Italy England Legends match, the Isle of MTV festival and several others.
