The Librarian: Quest for the Spear

Flynn Carsen is a 30-year-old graduate student who has managed to collect a whopping 22 university degrees; despite his brilliance, shy Flynn seems to have a hard time with the real world, and his mentor at school finally has him expelled so he can start putting his knowledge to work. Things are not much better for him at home, where his mother, Margie, wants him to meet a nice girl and settle down on his own. Needing a job, Flynn finds an unexpected opening with the New York Metropolitan Library, where Judson and Charlene hire him to look after a special collection.
It isn't long before Flynn learns how dangerous his job can be when he's approached by Lana and Rhodes, members of a secret underground mob known as the Serpent Brotherhood who happen to know that Flynn is the new guardian of the Spear of Destiny - and will stop at nothing to take it from him.

Extinct volcanoes are erupting at an alarming rate, and the ground is opening up to swallow entire cities, leading some to believe that the Apocalypse has finally begun. All hope isn't lost yet, however, and as FEMA leaps into action to provide assistance to those in need, volunteer fire-fighter Brad Malloy and kindly doctor Miguel Garcia do their best to get citizens out of the rapidly expanding danger zones. With even more destruction on the horizon, scientist Samantha Hill is forced to put the past behind her in hopes that her father, Dr Earl Hill, a rogue scientist whose ideas have found him exiled from mainstream science, can find a way to divert the path of the quake and save countless lives in the process.

Monday, RaiUno, 9.20 p.m.Anthony Hopkins stars as Gaylord Oakes, a CIA spy attempting - along with his partner, Kevin Pope - to secure a suitcase-sized nuclear bomb in Prague from a Russian black marketer. Just as the partners discover that another bidder for the device exists, they are ambushed and Pope is killed trying to protect Oakes. Desperate for the bomb's owners and their attackers to believe that Pope is still alive so that the deal can commence in ten days time, Oakes recruits his late partner's long-lost twin, ticket-scalping chess hustler Jake Hayes, a small-time criminal who never knew he had a brother. Offered a sizeable payday and the admiration of his student nurse girlfriend, Hayes agrees to undergo vigorous training and dangerous situations as he impersonates his brother and helps Oakes to remove the nuclear threat, but the new partners clash in every way possible, from personal discipline to musical taste.

Special Agent Jennifer Beck is an intrepid FBI agent who is assigned to solve the case of a multi-millionaire couple missing daughter. As the clues begin to reveal themselves, Beck, who has a secret gift of clairvoyance, tries to connect the kidnapper to the girl's mother, who is having an affair with her husband's business partner. Racing against the clock, Beck must discover the real reason for the abduction before it's too late.

Chance Boudreaux is a tough, out of work seaman trying to find work in New Orleans, where troubles are growing higher every minute. The police are picketing and the law enforcement is at a minimum. Meanwhile, Natasha Binder has come to the city in an attempt to find her father, who has not been heard from in some time. Natasha has been unaware that her father was homeless, and in a bleak attempt for money, became the prey in a human hunting "game". Natasha then hires Chance to protect her, as well as solve the mystery of who killed her father. But when Chance becomes involved in the hunting, as the prey, the risks have been doubled.
