Sunset Sundays
The most attended and highly anticipated weekly summer club night on the Maltese isles is back! As from this Sunday, the seventh consecutive season of Sunset Sundays will be launched within the exclusive open-air surroundings of Numero Uno in Ta' Qali - a venue reserved only for top-notch entertainment events that only the likes of Pure Promotions and Fresh Music agency can provide.
Sunset Sundays 2008 will once again be the yardstick by which all Maltese clubbing will be judged, providing eager clubbers with no less than 14 consecutive Sunday nights which not only promise to be bigger and better than ever, but will also promise to deliver that special vibe and atmosphere that has become the trademark associated with the Sunset Sundays name throughout the years.
Laden once again with varying themes, attractions and Class A DJs/artists both local and foreign (led by resident Pure Promotions ringmaster DJ Ruby), Sunset Sundays 2008's slogan Always on my mind! will definitely stick to your mind once you've read through the following list of guests who will be gracing the decks this season!
They are DJ San from The Netherlands, Brat & Brat (Ukraine), Pacho B & Pepo (Bulgaria), the legendary house master from Italy Joe T. Vanelli, and for the traditional Renaissance closing party on September 7, there will be none other than one of the biggest names in underground electronic dance music at the moment - Paolo Mojo! Furthermore, themed nights such as Ruby's VJ Set, Pure 90's, Classics nights, a Free DVD night as well as the Live Sessions will be running alongside other additional new nights in Sunset Sundays' Main Marquee Arena throughout the duration of these 14 weeks, while the chill-out area will be making sure that all bases of modern electronic music will be covered.
With all this at the clubber's disposal, Sunset Sundays 2008 guarantees to be Malta's No. 1 weekly club night and more, so be prepared to immerse yourself for a series of experiences that will leave you craving for more as the balmy summer nights roll on... staying at home on a Sunday night is definitely not an option!
