Local music promoted online

A new web page on Maltese music has been launched on an international music news website. Maltese company Batista Leisure Group has teamed up with Marco Gandolfi to launch the http://www.music-news.com/malta.asp, where Maltese artists and musicians will be accessible on a website that registers over two million visitors per month. Batista Leisure Group said this is the biggest international opportunity it has ever created for local talent.

Vocal showcases have been organised in the past, with two local artists spotted by UK record label PNC Music and taken to London to record singles at the British record label's professional studios, working with producers who boast of clients such as George Michael, Katherine Jenkins and Steps, just to name a few.
