A niece of Scientology leader David Miscavige is planning a tell-all book about the church.
Jenna Miscavige Hill, 28, a frequent critic of the church of Scientology since breaking with it in 2005, has a deal with HarperCollins Publishers imprint William Morrow for a book titled Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape.
Morrow says the book, which will come out in January, will reveal “strange and disturbing” details about growing up in the church, whose members include actors Tom Cruise as well as John Travolta.
David Miscavige chairs the board that oversees the church, founded in the 1950s by science fiction writer L. Ron Hubbard.
