€11.6 million in income tax refunds due to 6,711 taxpayers are due to be issued shortly, Finance Minister Tonio Fenech said in Parliament.

He said the refunds were due to have been issued at the end of last year.

The payment would be the third in a series of refunds announced in 2007.
