Thirteen people were yesterday fined Lm2,075 between them for failing to give fiscal receipts or keeping an updated journal.

Christopher Engerer of Exiles Civil Service Snack Bar, Sliema; Gerald Vella of Gerry Discount Store, Qormi; Costantino Zarb of the Peace band club, Naxxar;

Mark Bonello of Top Shop, Zebbug; and Joseph Camilleri of Mr Fish, Fgura, were fined Lm125 for failing to keep proper records of fiscal receipts while Robert Borg of Happy Shopper, Msida was fined Lm150 .

Carmel Testa of Golden Harvest, Floriana; Maria Victoria Galea of The Art Collection; Monica Wiedersum of Homes and Fashion Limited, Sliema; James Hughes of Diana Confectionery, Marsa, were fined Lm175 for failing to give clients fiscal receipts.

Vincent Mifsud of St Gaetano band club, Hamrun; Jevon Paul Vella of Jevon's Fruit Shop, Mellieha; and Alfred Azzopardi at the Naxxar trade fair were fined Lm200 for failing to provide clients with a receipt.
