Charles J. Buttigieg stated (The Sunday Times, February 10) that "Eddie Fenech Adami, then Leader of the Opposition, and members of his family resided for days prior to the election at the Panorama Hotel in Mellieha".

Just for the record, Mr Buttigieg has the wrong information. The then Leader of the Opposition and members of his family did not stay the Panorama Hotel in Mellieha for some days before the election, but were living at their home in Birkirkara.
