30 hold-ups reported this year

The police had 30 reports of hold-ups this year up to October, Home Affairs Minister Tonio Borg said in reply to a parliamentary question yesterday. During the same period, the police solved 19 hold-up cases, including three which took place in 2001.

During the same period, the police solved 19 hold-up cases, including three which took place in 2001. Another two turned out to be false reports.

The question was put by Labour MP Adrian Vassallo.
