30,000 litres of water used to extinguish Marsascala industrial garage blaze

No injures reported

Around 30,000 litres of water were used by Civil Protection Department firefighters to extinguish a large blaze in an industrial garage in Marsascala.

Civil Protection Department firefighters from Fire Station 4 and 11 were called to the scene earlier on Saturday and worked to extinguish the blaze. 

No injuries were reported.

The department said firefighters used approximately 30,000 litres of water to extinguish the fire and carry out cooling operations. 

The Civil Protection Department thanked both the hospital's emergency team and the police for their support.
