A group of some 42 migrants arrive on the tiny southern Italian island of Lampedusa yesterday, bringing migrant arrivals this month to more than 3,000. Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi came under fire from within his own government on Saturday over his handling of illegal immigration as yet more migrants washed up on Italy's shores in a rickety old boat.
