Just over half of those who registered to vote early had cast their votes by 2pm for both the European and local elections.

The total number of voters who pre-registered to vote one week early is 15,979 for EP elections and 16,135 for local elections.

Voters who registered in advance to vote one week ahead of the upcoming elections have until 10pm to cast their vote.
